Homeschool Music (Middle School) – 8-Week Session

Tuesdays • 90 Minutes • February 3 – March 26

Instructor: Meg Schultz

Tuition: $200 per student

Sibling Discount: $20 off each additional sibling

Designed for middle school musicians ready to grow, this 8-week homeschool music class provides an

ensemble-style learning experience rooted in Legacy’s belief that young artists thrive when supported

and inspired.

Under the guidance of Meg Schultz, students will develop technique, musicianship, and ensemble skills on winds,

brass, or string instruments. Students must provide their own instrument (instruments are not supplied by Legacy).

No prior music experience is required.

All musicians—from brand-new beginners to experienced band/orchestra players—are welcome and will

receive instruction tailored to their level. From tone production to reading skills to group performance, this class builds

confidence, creativity, and connection in a fun and encouraging environment.

Give your young musician the chance to Create, Learn, and Belong in this engaging 8-week

homeschool music program designed especially for elementary-aged students! Led by the talented Meg Schultz, this

class uses Orff-based instruction—a playful, hands-on approach that blends movement, rhythm, and creativity.

Students will explore foundational music skills through instruments such as drums, recorders, and/or ukulele,

learning to collaborate, express themselves, and discover their musical voice.

No prior music experience is required.

All skill levels are welcome, and Meg meets each student exactly where they are—making this class both

accessible for beginners and exciting for students with experience.

With Legacy’s signature blend of fun, artistry, and community, this class offers a joyful place for homeschoolers to

make music and make friends.
